We’re excited to have Jake join us on the Prodigy team as a 2nd Line Remote Engineer, he’s really hit the ground running in his first few weeks with us!
What did you do before joining Prodigy?
Prior to joining Prodigy, I worked as the sole in-house IT Technician for a farm veterinary practice and before that I studied at Bournemouth University.
What made you want to work with us?
The prospect of improving my knowledge and developing my skills. I felt that I built a solid foundation in my previous role and working for Prodigy will provide me the opportunity to flourish both professionally and personally.
How has your time here been so far?
It has been challenging but extremely rewarding and enjoyable. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind and I know that I am learning more with every passing day.
What’s the best thing about working here so far?
I would say the best part of working here so far would definitely be the team. Everyone has made me feel so welcome and they have all been very supportive to me.
What do you like doing in your free time?
I spend most of my evenings with chilling out with my dog and cat. Other than that you will usually find me in the pub if I’m not travelling around the country seeing friends. I am a big fan of experiencing everything the world has to offer. This year I went to the United States for the first time and I’m planning on going to Japan next year!
Any final thoughts?
Working for Prodigy is a fantastic opportunity for me and I can’t thank Ryan and Aden enough for bringing me on board. I hope to quickly become a valuable asset, not only for Prodigy, but also to our clients.
