We’re incredibly lucky to have Aaron joining the team as Project Lead Engineer – read on to meet him, and learn about his love of the office coffee machine.
What did you do before joining Prodigy?
Before joining Prodigy IT, I was working as a Project Engineer for a Managed Service Provider in Hampshire. I spent over 4 years in their projects team working on a large variety of projects. Before then I started my career as a First Line Engineer and worked my way through the helpdesk and installations teams as I learnt new technologies and developed as an engineer.
What made you want to work with us?
Prodigy IT has provided me with an opportunity to progress my career that wasn’t available to me before. Development and learning are important to me, so after speaking with Aden and Ryan about the role and company they gave me a lot of confidence that Prodigy IT was the right choice.
How has your time here been so far?
The first few days at Prodigy have been quite intense but everyone has been very understanding and supportive.
What’s the best thing about working here so far?
The best thing about working for Prodigy so far is the customer focus that is embedded within the company.
(Can’t forget to mention the coffee machine of course!)
What do you like doing in your free time?
When I’m away for the office I try to keep active and outdoors, I enjoy motor sport and have a dedicated competition car so I can often be found either tinkering with it, preparing for an event or competing at club events across the south. I’m also part of my local Lifeboat crew, which over the last 11 years has provided some very dynamic challenges but has also very rewarding at the same time.
Any final thoughts/ things you’d like to add?
Moving to Prodigy IT is an exciting opportunity for me to develop and move forward with my career, so I’m looking forward to the next few months and to working with a new team of engineers.
