The team has grown again, and we’re delighted to welcome Billy to the team as an Assigned 2nd Line Engineer.
What did you do before joining Prodigy?
Before joining Prodigy, I was in a helpdesk role providing IT support to those in the hospitality sector which demanded near perfect uptime due to their 24/7 nature.
Before this, I worked as in house IT for a solicitors firm which focused very much on bespoke software, web designers and customer facing technology to improve their clients experience.
What made you want to work with us?
Prodigy instantly stood out to me due to the familiarity of work being similar to my previous role and how local the offices are to myself. After conversing with Directors Aden and Ryan, I felt that the values and direction of the company are something I’d like to be involved with.
How has your time here been so far?
So far my time has been busy with learning the internals of how a customer focused company like Prodigy works and provides support to its clients. The comparisons to previous work I have undertaken is directly applicable to Prodigy, and I feel as though I have hit the ground running.
What’s the best thing about working here so far?
I think the best thing about working with Prodigy are the team. As a company, Prodigy go over and above to make every one of its team members welcome and at home. With many of the team working remotely we have regular staff meetings and social events that afford us the time to share ideas
What do you like doing in your free time?
I’m a keen car enthusiast, particularly Japanese scene and more specifically Mazda MX-5’s. I enjoy going along to car shows (As long as the weather’s nice!) to showcase my cars to other enthusiasts. I’m also massively into my football as a support of Rangers F.C. and try to get up to Glasgow a couple of times a year.
I’m excited to get to know my assigned customers as I provide IT support to them to the best of my abilities.
