Prodigy Team

Welcoming Gary to the team

If you haven’t had the opportunity to speak to him yet, meet IT Support Engineer, Gary, who we’re delighted to have had join the team. Read on to find out more about Gary and his noisy hobbies.

What did you do before joining Prodigy?

Before Prodigy I worked as a Line 2 engineer for a Somerset-based IT company supplying support to similar small to medium sized businesses. I was in this role for two years, and you might say it’s where I really got stuck in to my trade.

What made you want to work with us?

After a good conversation with Aden about what Prodigy could offer me, it felt like an opportunity that I truly couldn’t miss.

How has your time here been so far?

My first few weeks have been fantastic and the support of the team has just been amazing. As much as the role is in the same technical field as my last, it has taken some time to learn the ‘’Prodigy’’ way, which is so refined and works really well. Giving great support to our end users as well as making it much easier for the team to accomplish what they need to do in a correct and timely way.

What’s the best thing about working here so far?

That’s the team. Everyone here is so supportive and positive all the time. Nothing is ever too much when it comes to helping me or our customers. I truly feel at home already in the small amount of time I have been here.

What do you like doing in your free time?

When I am not working I spend most of my time with my family who are my everything. Either Chasing after my two children, my son who is 5 and my daughter who has just turned 1, or trying to get some peace and quiet with my wife. When I get some time to myself you can normally find me doing something musical, sat behind my drums or playing some guitar – normally until I get politely told to keep it down.

Any final thoughts?

Prodigy already has opened doors for me and I plan a long future with them, both improving myself and also helping grow the business further by supplying a great service to our customers.
