We’re delighted to be welcoming Mark to the Prodigy team, who has joined us in the role of 3rd Line Help Desk Engineer.
What did you do before joining Prodigy?
Before joining Prodigy, I worked for a family run IT support company in Yeovil for 9 years. Working alongside Gary and Charles as the Technical Manager, I was tasked with a varied role, from 1st-3rd line support both remote and onsite, dealing with escalations to onsite project deployment.
What made you want to work with us?
After 9 years with Labyrinth, I decided that now was a good time for a change, I had started with the company as a 1st line tech and through the years worked myself up the ladder to Technical Manager, with both Gary and Charles starting with Prodigy their reviews of the company were nothing but great! So after speaking with Ryan Prodigy sounded like a fantastic opportunity to progress and learn.
How has your time here been so far?
Not being used the structure in the business, I initially found it quite strange but after a week I could see why the company works so well. I am still getting to grips with a few things but nothing that time will not help with! And working from home is quite nice too!
What’s the best thing about working here so far?
I have found that all members of the team including the Directors always have time to take your call and everyone is keen to help and progress others.
What do you like doing in your free time?
In my spare time I enjoy taking long walks with my Springer Spaniel, exploring Cornwall when we can (COVID aside) and shooting clays with the 12 bore!
Any final thoughts?
I’m really looking forward to where Prodigy can take me, and just having help and support from colleagues will be beneficial. Here’s to a long and prosperous future.
