Initial problem

As a recruitment company, Octopus Personnel are on the go a lot, and wanted to discuss solutions which allowed them to access an ‘office in the cloud’ from different locations.

First steps

Not wanting a large capital outlay presented by server hardware onsite, Octopus wanted a pay monthly subscription with all software licensing and hosted emails to be included. With this in mind, we implemented a cloud server solution, and Hosted Exchange emails with an online automated backup and all-inclusive MS Office software.


Everything we’ve implemented is flexible, accessible from anywhere, and is conducive to business growth. As we also have an ongoing relationship providing managed IT support for Octopus we’re able to see where issues become pain points, and recommend solutions to overcome them. To further meet Octopus’ need for flexibility, we now manage their VoIP telephone system as well, making it easy for them to make and receive calls from wherever they are.
